Cairns Regional Council will now commence asphalting works on the Noah Creek Bridge on Cape Tribulation Road, north of Thornton Beach, on Wednesday, May 1.

These works will require the bridge to be closed to all traffic from 10am. It is planned that the bridge will be opened for a 45 minute period from 11.30am to 12.15pm to allow through traffic. The bridge will then be closed until 2pm.

Motorists are advised to avoid non-essential travel during the closure, or to expect delays.
