Before I start on the footy, massive kudos to Andre Lemanis & the NZ Breakers for pulling off a 3peat of NBL championships. Andre was captain of our team in 1990 (yes 23 years ago) & even back then he was destined for something special! He was a very solid player & great leader but never a super star – apparently these types make the best coaches? My spies tell me he is about to be named head coach of our national team so enormous congratulations to a great guy who just refused to let anyone tell him he’d never make it!! Kez, Muffy & I will be speaking with Drey soon on the Saturday Morning Sports Show (SMSS) to hear all about it.....

Freo – Top 4 & best coach in the league? Yes! Up until half time against the Bombers & now Pav out...
Collingwood – Will they come back here for mid season break? Yes!
St Kilda – Rebuilding or having a crack? Yes! Watters has no idea...
West Coast – Will they play finals? Yes!
Western Bulldogs – Lion tamers? Yes! (not happy)
Gold Coast – On the up? Yes! Got the best player in it...
Brisbane – Best pre season champs ever? U betcha!
Carlton – Will Malthouse experiment work? Yes!
Nth Melbourne – Can they come good? Yes! (but no finals)
GWS – Are they a few years away? Yes
Melbourne – Are there absolutely no positives out of the direction of this club? Yes!
Oh i must talk about Richmond – Yes they will make up 7th on the ladder. I like Hardwick & there attack on the footy is awesome. They’ve turned a corner & exciting times for Tigers supporters. Be prepared for some pain however...
