Cairns Regional Council has sent out a message  to advise residents that television services will be disrupted in the Cow Bay area next week.

The Alexandra Range transmission tower will be offline at times on Wednesday, March 27, and Thursday, March 28, to allow for installation of a new stand-off bracket and rebroadcast antenna, associated with the recent upgrade to digital transmission.

The outages are necessary for the safety of workers installing the equipment.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused by these outages and appreciates the patience of residents.
