The upgrade of the Alexandra Range (Cow Bay) television transmission tower to a digital service will occur today, weather permitting.

Council has advised that residents and businesses receiving their television broadcast from this tower may experience interruptions to the service during the day.

Once the switchover to a digital transmission is complete, the analogue signal will no longer be available. A digital set-top box or digital-ready TV will be required to receive the new signal and televisions may need to be re-tuned to access the suite of digital channels.
