Bigger and better for photo comp

The Newport's Best Photo Competition just keeps getting better with a huge number of entries flowing in for November.

As always, the panel of expert judges have mulled over their decision and come up with a shortlist of finalists who will vie for the titles of Best Photo, and Most Popular Photo for November.

To vote for your favourite visit the Best Photo Competition page. Voting closes on Tuesday 11 December.

Imagebank Australia has announced it will step up into the number one sponsor position with the biggest first prize in the competition's history - a 30cm x 46cm acrylic print valued at $130 PLUS $50 cold hard cash.

Check out the video (top left) on acrylic prints.

Perrin from Imagebank Australia has been a long-time supporter of the Best Photo Competition so check out his website or get down to his studio in Wharf Street, Port Douglas.

Seabean Cafe & Restaurant have also decided to support regional photographers by offering a $50 voucher to be enjoyed by each month's runner-up.

Henry and Lesley at Seabean are brilliant hosts so after you've checked out Perrin's studio, pop along to Seabean just up the road.

Coles Supermarket Port Douglas continue to support the local community and their ongoing support of the Best Photo Competition is greatly appreciated.

Jason at Coles likes to mix things up a bit so all sorts of prizes are being offered up for the third placed winner.

Entries for December are now being accepted so send up to four photos, along with your name and the photo's title, to competitions@thenewsport.com.au.
