The circus is coming to town as the Mossman & District Gymnastics Club host their end of year presentation night next Friday, 30 November, between 6pm and 7pm at the Mossman Indoor Sports Centre.

Like any circus extravaganza, our local gymnasts will be putting on an entertaining and technically impressive show. All are welcome to attend this free event with the festivities kicking off at

5:30pm with a sausage sizzle before the performance.

The club’s major fundraising raffle for the year, with funds going towards their new gymnastics facility, will be drawn on the night and a lucky winner will be announced to receive four night’s accommodation at Hamilton Island, including air fares.

For those thinking about pursuing the sport of gymnastics next year, this will be a great opportunity to come in and have a look at what the club is about and to see the amazing levels of expertise our local gymnasts are capable of, thanks to the excellent coaching and support from the club.

The Mossman & District Gymnastics Club would also like to make known to their regular members and those considering signing up their kids for next year that they have registered with the Queensland Government’s fantastic “Get Started” initiative which will assist children and young people who may be financially restricted from joining a sporting club.

Sign On day or thereafter next year, to help cover membership fees.

Vouchers will be made available on a first in, first serve basis, with Round 1 opening on 15 January 2013 and closing 15 April 2013. A second round will commence on 15 July. The program will open for two rounds each year until 2015.
