Top author coming to Mossman

Best-selling young adult author Carole Wilkinson will be in the far north later this week to work with aspiring writers and students in a series of free interactive workshops in libraries and schools across the region.

Carole is a multi-award winning author whose awards including Children’s Book of the Year, Queensland and NSW Premier's Literary and Aurealis awards.

With over 20 published works, Carole’s most popular titles include The Dragonkeeper and the Ramose series.

She will be presenting two free writing workshops at Mossman Library at 3.30pm on Friday 26 October and Manunda Library at 9.30am on Saturday 27 October.  

“We are thrilled to host this high profile writer," Cairns Libraries Manager Kerrie Still said. "This is a great opportunity for budding and existing local authors to learn valuable skills to take their own writing to a higher level.”
