David Coulthard has made a valuable contribution for Australia Under 16s in their against United Arab Emirates XI in Dubai on Wednesday.

The Mossman champion snared three wickets in the 115 run win taking 3 for 18 off 4 overs. Team mate Jack Wood starred in the win taking 6 for 9 off 3 overs.

Couthard had little opportunity to impress with the bat coming in at number 11 and finishing on 1 not out.

It was an impressive turnaround in form for the young star after being wicketless and hit for 39 runs from 3 overs in the previous game.
