Men’s Results

It was another great weekend for men’s bowling accompanied by tremendous weather conditions.

Saturday’s competition saw a close round in the Club Selected Threes with S Chatterton (Sub), R Gard and B Wolland narrowly defeat R Pitt (sub) J Sellars and Doug Pitt 18-16.

Social bowls

Morrie, G Marsh and J Fary def. Dick Pitt, G Wilmot and D Blain 17-15.
T Pisot, R Edwards and D Johnston def. J Beasley, R Williamson and D Egan 21-16.
C Andreassen. C Wills and P Gorsuch def. D Head, E Holderbolt and D Patterson 26-18.
Winners of the day were R Ulug, C Dwyer and P Cleary who defeated J Griffon, Zilly and Kiwi 30-20.

The men’s handicap semi-final on Sunday went to B Wolland who defeated J Sellars.

Next Saturday is men’s social jackpot bowls as usual with registrations by midday and a 1pm start.

Ladies Results

Congratulations to Jan Gard and Estelle O’Rourke who are the Graded Pairs Champions after defeating Maree Crees and Val Robinson.

Graded triples has started with Bev Zillfleisch, Maria Mijo and Sony Edwards defeating Zina Girgenti, Carol Maxted and Dot Kostryka 26 to 8.

This weeks' games are Maree Crees, Barbara May and Val Robinson verses Jan Gard, Margaret Cooper and Glenn Lepp. Sylvia Patterson, Estelle O’Rourke and Judy Maxwell verses Maria Mijo, Bev Zillfleisch and Sonia Edwards.

Social bowls was won by Maureen Tucker and Glenn Lepp. Glenn also won the raffle.
