Jets home in high scoring game

The ever-impressive Cougars took the victory again this week with a straight 30-10 win over Crocs 1.

Cougars and Crocs started out with low scoring but by the second quarter both teams were away. Cougars' Nichelle Pitts dominated the last quarter with her impressive shooting earning her players' choice.

Cougars' Cassie Cairns and Gemma Gwilliams were awarded best and fairest for their midcourt and defensive work.
 
The second division 1 game of the night saw Young Guns take out the win over Rattle n Hum 47-18.

Guns won each quarter utilising their defensive players and midcourt bringing it down to the attacking end. Megan Pooley from Rattle and Guns' Jarney Thomas were named best and fairest.

Rochelle Miller, an attacking Young Guns player, was awarded best and fairest.

Ring Ins claimed a victory this week over Gunnars 20-4. Ring Ins led in each quarter but Gunnars came back fighting in the last quarter. Players choice was awarded to Gunnars' defensive player Casey Kemp.
 
Jets took on Crocs 2 this week and came out with a 35-22 win. Best and fairest was awarded to midcourt player Natalie Castro from Crocs 2.

Bits N Pieces had a win this week over Breakers 17-5. They led each quarter and players' choice was awarded to Breakers' Leanna Lomas and best and fairest went to Bits N Pieces' Kacie Leathwaite.
