In another big afternoon of social bowls on Saturday T Pisot, R Morse and D Patterson defeated S Patterson, R Williams and D Egan 24-19.

In other games:

• C Andreassen, E Holdcroft and J Girgenti defeated T Elcoate, C Dwyer and Doug Pitt 19-12
• R Vlug, G Wilmot and D Johnston defeated B Davey, C Wills and J Fary 20-13
• Ryan Pitt, B Field and N Tesch defeated M Morrison, B Bateman and Kiwi 25-15
• D Power, L Valentine and J Bull defeated D Head, Ted Pitt and P Cleary 24-13
• Big winners of the afternoon were Dick Pitt, G Marsh and C Maxted who defeated J Beazley, R White and P Gorsuch 25-8.

On Sunday the Handicap singles semi-final went to B Wolland who defeated G Wilmot.

It will be social Jackpot bowls as usual this Saturday and members and visitors are reminded that names should be in by 12 midday for a 1pm start.

Also a reminder that the weekend of the 17th, 18th and 19th of August will be the annual Sugar Festival competitions so remember to register for Ladies, Mixed and Men’s events.

Ladies Results

Graded pairs continues with Maree Crees and Val Robinson (23) defeating Robyn Petrus and Val Sharpe (12). Social bowls was also played and the winners were Greta Burke, Glenise Sharp and Barbara

May (2+12). The raffle was won by Val Sharpe.

Please don’t forget wrapped cent sales for the Sugar Festival on Friday 17th. Meeting day is Thursday 9th, please come along by 10.30am.
