The Mobile Van will be located outside the  Port Douglas  Neighbourhood Centre in  Mowbray Street;  call in to the Van to  book an  appointment, or call the  numbers listed  below.

Skilling Solutions Queensland is the Queensland Government's training and skilling information service. A one-stop-shop for all your training and skilling solutions.

The specially trained consultants can identify how your existing skills could be formally recognised towards a relevant qualification.

You will then be referred to a network of contracted training organisations to undertake a formal assessment of your skills against the chosen qualification.

The process is called recognition of prior learning.  Recognition of prior learning is all about recognising the skills that you already have and obtaining a qualification in less time and at a reduced cost!

As a customer of Skilling Solutions Queensland, you may be eligible for a subsidy, depending on the qualification.
