In what must be a truly unique show, Canadian singer songwriter Cathy Miller brings her guitar to the Mossman Bowls Club to entertain and amuse with her songs and stories dedicated to quilts.

An avid quilter, Cathy will find herself in good company in Mossman with quilting a passionate pastime for many in the area.

Doors open for Cathy's Quilt Trunk Show at 6.30pm for a 7pm start and tickets cost just $15.

Cathy's quilting skills will also be on display on Friday as she heads up a workshop, again at the Mossman Bowls Club, where she'll display her fast and easy technique for reverse applique.

Students attending will walk away from the workshop with a piece designed and created by them.
