Last Tuesday’s field of 33 played a Stableford event which was won by Rob Cooke with 39 points. Second place was Simon Nelson 38 and third place was John Carney with 37 points on a count-back to Wayne Dowell.
 
Nearest the pins were Bruce Cheesman on 6, George Page on 8, Barry Brims on 10, Ralf Middel on 13 and Ian Prewett on 17.

Wednesday’s nine hole event saw Brett Deuble take the honours from John Cameron on a count-back to Kerri-Lynn Williams. Nearest the pins went to Dennis Blake on 10, Ed Sant on 13 and Kerri on 17.

The weather kept away many Ladies on Thursday, except for the A Team. Treveen Page had a great round of nett 66.

Saturday’s Stableford event had a great field of 55 players. Div I winner was Geoff Goodwin with 35 points on a count-back from Daniel Coulthard. Div II winner was Laurie Prosser with 39 points with second place going to Des Landy with 35 points.

Nearest the pins went to John Petherbridge on 6, Barry Rouse on 8, Keith Gard on 10, Rick Wiemar on 13 and A Croser on 17.

The Ladies winner on Saturday was Shona Barbour, second place Trish Landy on a count-back to Kim Edwards, and nearest the pins were Kim Edwards on 8 and Tracey Benham on 13.

A number of visitors and members had a social round on Sunday to get some practice on the six new greens.

The Club invites ladies of any age to come along and learn to play Golf. The wet season is coming to an end and the next clinic will be held in early May.  Everyone is welcome to book on 4098 2089.
