The wild wind did nothing to deter the great turnout of bowlers for Saturdays’ Jackpot competition. The challenging conditions only added to the excitement and entertainment of the afternoon which produced some interesting outcomes.

Mens' Results
 
R.Williams, S.Jellis and C.Maxted def. C.Andreassen, Kiwi and C.Wills 22-19.
T.Pisot, C.Pitt and J.Hocking def. K.Pitt, J.Girgenti and T.Brlyack 26-21.
A.Christie, C.Dwyer and D.Blain def. G.Bolton, G.Wilmot and G.Banks 22-16.
Dick Pitt and D.Egan def. S.Chatterton and B.Wolland 24-15.

The winners of the day were S.Renton, L.Valentine and Doug Pitt who defeated J.Maxwell, P.Cleary and N.Tesch 23-14.
 
Next Saturday will be Jackpot bowls as usual and the first rounds of club competitions will be posted within the week.
 
Ladies Results
 
There were no bowls played last week. First round of the championship pairs are to be played by 9 February and the games are on the board. Selectors for February are Jan Gardand and Robyn Petrus.

There is a meeting Thursday 9 February at 10.30am with all bowlers welcome.
