Two wins in three weeks for Caswell
John Caswell knocked up his second win in three weeks taking out the Tuesday men’s monthly medal with net 65.
Peter Santarossa finished second with net 66 and Greg Walker was third with 69. Nearest the pins were Rick Herschell on 6, John Carney on 8 and Peter Lewis on 17.
Lucy Giles won the Wednesday competition with 24 points around the back nine. Dennis Blake was second with 23 and Les Donehue was third with 22. Bev Cowe and Brett Jurie won the nearest the pins on 13 and 17.
On Thursday the ladies played their Medal of medals. Ellen Clark won the yearly medal with net 75. Helen Gabour also had a memorable day with a net 68 to win the daily competition after a count back to Kiara Lomas. Helen won nearest the pin on 10 while Kiara won 6, 8 and 17.
John Norris scored 41 points on Saturday to win the Men’s Stableford competition ahead of Peter Clark and John Ziegler on 40 points. Ralf Middel won nearest the pin on 6, John Ziegler on 8, Ian Steley on 10, Maurice Meth on 13 and Des Whiteley on 17.
Trish Middel won the Ladies with 36 points three shots clear of Kerri Williams and Glenda Christensen on 33 points. Trish Landy won nearest the pin on 6 and Pris Freeman won 17.
This Saturday is the clubs end of year break up day. If you’re not already down get a team of four together for the 4 Ball Ambrose fun day.
