The Faces of Carnivale, Sam Evans and Stephanie Heath, will be the ambassadors of a fundraising golf day at the Mossman Golf Club on Sunday 15 May.

With a shot gun start at 12 noon, teams of four are invited to join in the four ball Ambrose event. And the teams will be hard to miss as participants are asked to dress up in their best "Tropical Wonderland Outfits."

Steph Heath says her golf is actually less than its cracked up to be.

"I just started playing golf because my family does it - my brother, Dad - all of them.  And when I do it, everyone's highly amused for some reason." she laughs.

"But seriously, it's really important to get behind the day because the money we raise goes towards putting on Carnivale events like the street parade and the beach day where we pay for great entertainers which everyone enjoys for free," she added.

There will be prizes up for grabs including one for Best Dressed Team, and small fundraising fun activities will be dotted around the course.

Entry into the competition is $30 per person which includes 18 holes of golf and light BBQ at end of the game. Enclosed shoes and shirts with sleeves are a must.
