The Dragons U11 squad returned from the Easter break full of running.  All players gave 100% as usual. 

Winnie Heatley covered miles in her roving midfield mission.  Mitchell Budge was a great stand-in Left Back.  Player of The match Zimmy Too was well organised and purposeful at Right Back. 

The attacking duo of Kale Warden and Harrison Weyand scored one each. However the opposition exploited some holes in the Douglas formation. Beware the wounded Dragon!

Eurotech's Douglas United Under 9s ran riot in Cairns this week smashing 10 goals past a shell shocked Saints.

A quick hat trick by man of the match, Jack Jenkins, a double by Jack Carr and one by Jake Reid made it 6-0 at half time with the boys playing football above their years.

The second half saw more of the same with Connor Berzinski and Nicholas Rayner keeping things tight at the back.

More strong attacking play saw Charlie Dowling score two and Jake read grabbed another and the never say die attitude of Bailey Morrison scored the tenth goal.

Saints grabbed a consolation goal at the end after Ashton davenport had made two good saves. The score ended 10-1 with the Dragons showing they were a class above their opponents.
