The 'A to Z of cabaret' is coming to the Cairns Civic Theatre and Port Douglas' very own Clink Theatre next month.

A production of the Brisbane Cabaret Festival, the show will feature Queensland's finest cabaret performers who will belt out numbers from renowned artists as diverse as Peter Allen, The Doors, Shirley Bassey, and Nick Cave.

Now it doesn't get more diverse than that.

Described as a "vibrant musical journey", the A to Z of caberet is a contemporary cabaret concert which celebrates this dynamic and popular art form and all that it encompasses with music exotic and eclectic, cracking comedy, and drastically dramatic divas.

The show will be at the Cairns Civic Theatre on Wednesday, 1 September, and at the Clink Theatre on Thursday, 2 September. The show kicks off at 7.30pm both evenings.
