Expected to be one of the most colourful of the events under the banner of the Cairns Festival 2010, The Cairns Tropical Pride (CTP) Festival Fair Day is on 29th August at The Tanks Art Centre starting at 11am. 

This is an opportunity for the gay and lesbian community to celebrate its diversity and its connection to the wider community.  The CTP committee organizes the Cairns Tropical Pride Festival annually, thereby creating a festival event the gay and lesbian community can truly call their own.

There’ll be a Dog Show, LGBT choir, drag and other performances, Gay Bingo, an art exhibition, food and drink from the region, a bar, music, market stalls, laughing yoga, an address from Mayor Val Schier, dance and a handbag throwing competition plus much much more!

Come along to the annual gay and lesbian community family fun day out!  IMPORTANT: Some MA 15+ content, parental guidance recommended (Adult areas clearly signposted).
