Reef and Rainforest Connections have today announced the launch of a new all day tour taking visitors up to the Daintree Rainforest and River entitled 'Daintree Walkabout'.

This new tour will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from this Thursday (April 1st). This unique new tour has been created from both local and international visitor feedback.

Reef and Rainforest Connections have laid on a 24 seat vehicle for the tour so visitors will be travelling in absolute comfort.  This luxury vehicle has the 2 x 2 seating pattern so couples can enjoy the trip together. 

The itinerary of the trip includes an exclusive hour and a half Guided walk through the multi award winning Ku Ku Yalanji Dreamtime Walk.  

The walk is followed by a fantastic Barramundi lunch at the incomparable Silky Oaks Rainforest Resort overlooking the Mossman River on the very edge of the Daintree Rainforest. 

Then up to the Daintree River for a River Cruise.  A final stop for some tropical fruit tasting at Scomazzons Fruit and Cane Farm before heading back to Port.  The tour pick ups start from 08.45hrs and the returns are scheduled for 4.00pm.
