Port Fusion will be hosting it’s 2nd quarterly networking event on Thursday 25th February from 5pm in the Daintree Lounge at Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas.

After the success of the 1st Port Fusion event in November 2009, Tara Bennett & Melissa Blades, who set up Port Fusion to bring Port Douglas & Daintree operators in the tourism industry together, expect another great turnout for the 2nd event.

“We were thrilled with the support & encouragement we received for our 1st event and look forward to our 2nd event at the Sheraton Mirage to be just as successful” Ms Blades said.  “It’s a quieter time of year for the tourism industry so a perfect chance for everyone to get together to catch up with old and new acquaintances”

Everyone involved in the tourism industry is welcome to attend the event.

“The feedback from the previous event was fantastic with attendees commenting on how many people they caught up with that they had not seen in years” Ms Bennett said.

Tickets which include canapés & a drink on arrival can be purchased at the door for $25.
