VIDEO | G'day Port Douglas & Daintree: Brydie the electrician wildlife rescuer

THREE MINUTES WITH A LOCAL

This week’s G’day Port Douglas and Daintree shares the story of local electrician and wildlife rescuer, Brydie.

In the video above, Brydie, talks about her love of being a sparkie and getting to meet people in her community.

She is also a registered wildlife rescuer and carer and she shows off one of her most recent rescues, a Carpet Python.

Brydie gets a massive feeling of satisfaction being able to care for animals, especially reptiles.

When she's not working, or rescuing wildlife, she enjoys hiking. She loves exploring the rainforest waterfalls that are found right on her doorstep, here, in the Douglas Shire.

G’day Port Douglas & Daintree’ is a series of videos featuring Douglas Shire locals sharing their lives and what inspires them to live in this beautiful part of the world.
