THE Port Douglas Reef Raiders rugby union team will have home ground advantage after the venue was switched for their match against Cairns Brothers.

Originally scheduled to be played at Gordonvale, it will now be contested at the Port Douglas Sports Complex at 3:30pm tomorrow afternoon.

“It’s a perfect opportunity to not only play with the home crowd behind us, it’s another opportunity to show how we are progressing.

“Unfortunately we won’t have any reserves and will therefore have to rely on the run-on side to play the full 80 minutes. However, we are still hopeful we can recruit players over the next few weeks,” said club president Donny Murday.
