Local electrical company enjoys successful first year

BUSINESS

THE honeymoon period is over for Craiglie-based BH Electrics and those behind the success of this electrical business can look back on the past year with a great deal of satisfaction.

Formerly known as Blake Henning Electrics, the business was purchased by Brad and Leanne Sims in 2017. It had been running for over 13 years, continually expanding its products and services to meet the growing needs of customers and business.

Leanne said that safety, integrity and efficiency are all priorities at BH Electrics.

“Our team of electricians have vehicles that are fully equipped with a range of products, enabling them to respond quickly to emergency work requests, even when they are already in the field. We also provide
electrical labour hire services," she said.

“For maximum efficiency, BH Electrics has automated its work flow and job requests, which are delivered, actioned and managed by our electricians through a mobile phone interface.

“Our team are trained in using this system to enter details of work completed and products used, into their phones. This equates to quicker workflows and less administration, with cost savings passed directly on to customers. Fast, efficient and effective."

Leanne said she is extremely positive about Port Douglas and the direction it is following.

“The latest developments at the Marina and business in general all provide positive signs for what lies ahead and this makes for an ideal working environment."
