UPDATE: The male driver of a single-vehicle rollover on the Captain Cook Highway has been taken to Mossman Hospital with minor injuries.

The man’s car clipped a rock wall at Yule Point near Mowbray this afternoon.

EARLIER: There has been a traffic crash on the Captain Cook Highway near Yule Point causing lengthy delays.

It’s believed a vehicle clipped a rock wall heading north along the highway, causing it to rollover.

Traffic is moving freely on the southbound lane but motorists can expect delays coming into Port Douglas as emergency services try to clear the area.

It's believed a man was taken by an ambulance at the scene but his condition is still unknown.
