PORT Douglas and the wonders of Mossman and the Daintree were featured on Channel 9’s popular Getaway program this week.

Television presenter and country music singer-songwriter, Sam McClymont, visited the Douglas Shire and stayed at the QT Resort in Port Douglas and the stunning Silky Oaks Lodge just north of Mossman.

She was impressed with the natural beauty of the region and was spotted enjoying the many shopping options on Macrossan Street during her time in town.
