AFL CAIRNS: Crocs to light up Cazaly’s Stadium tomorrow night

Published Friday 10 June 2016

PORT Douglas will look to consolidate its position at the top of the AFL Cairns table when it meets North Cairns tomorrow at Cazaly’s Stadium.

The Crocs sent a clear message to the rest of the competition with their 70-point thumping of South Cairns last week which saw them replace the Cutters by percentage at the top-of-the-table.

The Tigers, however, have struggled this season and are yet to win a game. They were competitive in patches against Port Douglas when they last met but were over-run by 89-points. Midfielder Jesse Mawson played as a forward that day to boot seven goals and he’ll cause the Tigers a few more headaches tomorrow given his white-hot form.

The match will be played under lights in Cairns starting at 5pm.
