The Sunset Markets have returned to The Reef Marina with the popular attraction to run every Wednesday.

Local and tourists alike can check out a vast array of stalls including arts and crafts, jewellery, books, clothing and an array of food all to the backdrop of the stunning Dickson Inlet.

There is live music to keep the festive vibe buzzing while a brand new sunset bar headlines many of the new offerings down on Wharf Street.

"We're really happy to see the Sunset Markets continuing," Rob Cruz, Reef Marina General Manager, said today.

"The feedback has been really great form all the stalls, they think it's a great attraction for tourists and locals.

It's such a beautiful location down at the Marina and we have the sunset bar and a number of other things opening."

This is the fourth year The Sunset Markets, which run from 12pm through to around 7pm, have been operating on a Wednesday night.

"We're really happy to see it continue and the management of the market has been quite good," Cruz said.

"We have plans to just continue the market as is and encourage everyone to get down here."
