As part of senior’s week, The Mossman Glee Club extended their repertoire to include not only Rock and Roll singing but R & R dancing as well.

The young-at-heart ladies un-mothballed their 50’s flared, knee length dresses which covered multi petticoats and with bobby socks footwear, entertained the residents of Ozcare.  Some of the senior men needed CPR.

On Monday morning fifties style milkshakes and donuts sustained over 80 guests as the Ozcare floors shook and the windows rattled.  The Glee Club is the creation of our own opera singer Altouise Devaughn and her musician husband, Idris. Eyes became teary when Idris serenaded his beautiful wife with the Johnny Mathis tune ‘Honeycomb’.

Elvis is not dead.  He turned up disguised as Ozcare staff member Paul Jenkins.
