A great day was had by all at the Port Douglas Beach Picnic Races last Saturday. The weather was perfect and the backdrop was magnificent along the race track on Four Mile Beach.

The crowds showed up in droves to this first time event.  With a solid crowd of around 1,500 at any given time, organisers believe around 4,000 people attended the event throughout the day.
