Billy Gordon to be cleared of domestic violence charges

Controversial state member for Cook Billy Gordon will be cleared of domestic violence charges. 

Senior police figures have told media that charges will not be pressed against the former Labor member, who was expelled from the party by Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk for failing to disclose his criminal record. 

Mr Gordon, who now holds a key vote in the finely-balanced Queensland parliament, is slated visit Cape Tribulation to discuss local issues on Friday and Saturday.
