Embattled Member for Cook Billy Gordon will be the subject of a segment by televsion program A Current Affair tonight. 

A Current Affair will air an interview with Mr Gordon's former partner Kristy Peckham, who describes Mr Gordon as 'like a monster'.

Mr Gordon released a statement describing A Current Affair as a 'kangaroo court' and continued his previous stance of not offering comment to media.

"I note the kangaroo court known as 'A Current Affair will air a segment about me tonight," Mr Gordon said in a statement today.

"Unlike that program and other media outlets, I respect the current police investigation into certain allegations against me.

"I will thus make no comment until it is completed. 

"Meanwhile I will continue to work hard on the issues that matter to my constituents."

The Current Affair segment will air tonight at 7pm on Channel Nine.
