Two men, both aged 39, have been arrested and charged yesterday following a search of their Cow Bay residence.

Detectives from Mossman and Cairns executed a search warrant at the Teak Road residence at around 2.30pm yesterday and allegedly seized a quantity of drugs including cannabis and methylamphetamine.

Officers also located and searched two shipping containers at the address containing large amounts of property.  

Police seized ten motorcycles, three quad bikes, three generators and a large quantity of tools and other equipment.

One of the men was charged with two counts of possession of a dangerous drug and one count of unlawfully supplying a dangerous drug, whilst the second man was charged with possession of tainted property.

Both were scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on Thursday morning.

Investigations are continuing.
