Mossman & Districts Gymnastics Club sent five young gymnasts to the Tropical Townsville Gymnastics Championships Competition on the 17th Oct 2014. 

Charlotte Henderson successfully completed in Level 2, placing 1st on Bars, 5th on Vault and finishing 3rd Overall out of 28 competitors. 

Level 3 gymnasts Della Miller, Tali Hoye & Kahli Frizelle performed well in their division. 

Della placed 3rd on Floor and 9th Overall, Tali placed 5th on Bars & 8th Overall with both girls passing their levels test. 

Shayla Frizelle completed in Level 4 for only the 3rd time showing great improvement on all apparatus. 

She scored exceptionally well in a group of 28 very competitive gymnasts.

The Competition was attended by 14 clubs from the region, 308 Gymnasts in both Boys MAG & Girls WAG Levels 1 – 10. 

The coaches were extremely proud of all of the gymnasts’ achievements and the way in which they conduct themselves in such an intense and competitive atmosphere. 

Mossman & Districts Gymnastics Club will be holding their End of Year Presentation night on FRI 28th Nov at 6.00pm. 

The public are invited to come & enjoy the entertaining and technical spectacular displays from the club's local gymnasts, who are keen to show their family & friends the skills they have learnt throughout the year.

A fundraising BBQ will be on sale from 5.30pm.

All proceeds will benefit the club.

We will also be drawing our major raffle at this event, the prize being $1000.00 in cash.

Make sure you buy your tickets at the door if you haven’t already had the opportunity to do so.

All proceeds from the raffle will be put aside for the club's proposed new gymnastics facility in Mossman.
