A new team has taken over spa operations at Niramaya Spa and Beauty to provide products and treatments that are not yet offered in Douglas.

The newly appointed spa team consists of remedial massage therapist and cosmetic doctor Rose Arentz, alongside Carla Ann Hammond as the Yoga teacher and massage therapist.

Niramaya Villas and Spa manager Zac Sarnecki says the change of spa operators will allow them to provide highly sought after cosmetic services and beauty therapies.

“Acquiring Dr Rose and her team means that we’ll be only spa in Port Douglas with qualified practitioners able to provide cosmetic and injectable nutrient treatments,” Mr Sarnecki says.

“What’s more – signature beauty treatments found in only a handful of locations along the Eastern Seaboard will be provided by experienced remedial massage therapist and aromatherapist, Janine Arentz, and her team of spa professionals.

“We’re very excited about the changeover, as these services, as well as this standard of service, is not something that was readily availably in the Port Douglas region until now.”

Dr Rose has experience in surgery, addiction medicine, emergency medicine and thoracic medicine at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney’s Kings Cross.

She has developed her own skincare range called Dr Rose working with natural, organic and active Australian ingredients.

Mr Sarnecki says working alongside Dr Rose and her team will be Carla Ann Hammond, who will provide a range of pampering relaxation massages and yoga sessions to guests.

“Originally from the United Kingdom, Carla Ann is a qualified Massage Therapist, Yoga instructor, Life Alignment practitioner and Reiki Practitioner,” Mr Sarnecki says.

“She will be providing treatments such as Swedish and therapeutic massages, sugar scrubs, hot stone massages along with various meditation and relaxation therapies.”

Niramaya Spa and Beauty is now the home of some of the most exclusive and luxurious spa and beauty treatments available in Port Douglas in addition to a range of relaxation and remedial massage treatments.

Health Fund Rebates and Health Insurance Contributions at Point of Sale will be available to clients getting remedial massage therapies to aid their muscular injuries, aches and pains.

Niramaya Spa and Beauty clients will also be able to enjoy resort facilities including the sauna, serenity zone, swimming pool and Rasa Restaurant before or after their treatment.

An official launch event for the spa will be held at Niramaya in early September.
