The rain held off and Douglas Netball swung into round two this week following the school holidays.  

Dynamite played against Rattle 'n' Hum 1 in the first match of the night on court one.

The Dynamite, whose squad have an average age of 16, are playing their first season up in division one and played well against the experienced Rattle Team.  

The final score was 55-25 to Rattle with the best and fairest award given to Kasey Turnham.

Port Power played Rattle n Hum 2 and the Rattle teams took out a clean sweep winning the match 22-19,  

The RingIns started strongly against the Bluebirds on court three.

The Bluebirds outscored them in the second half but lost, with the final score 41-33.

Best & fairest was Chantelle Ives.

In the 7:40pm time slot Crocs 1 played the Gunnars.

The Crocs 1 team are on the top of the ladder. The Gunnars are newcomers to division one and were dominated for four quarters, with the Crocs taking the game 70-8.  

The Jets played the competent and experienced Cougars on court two with the teenage Jets showing they're ready to step up to the mark.  

The final score was 48-22 to the Cougars with Nichelle Pitt taking out the best and fairest.  

The third game was a forfeit between Crocs 2 and Spot On.    

Teams please remember to write your players choice on the score sheet, if a team fails to do so, their players choice will not be counted.  

Umpires also a reminder to write one best and fairest player for the game on the score sheet.
