With a few showers in the past week, the Mossman Golf Club course is looking great and providing some great scores.

An introduction to golf for Ladies is proving popular, with new faces each week.

Tuesday’s Mens Port Douglas Court House Hotel Par event was won by Jeff Murray with +6 ahead of John Cameron +4 and Michael Gabour +3.

Wednesday’s 9 hole Sporters was won by Rod Donovan 21 on a  count-back to Greg Walker. NTP’s – Kerri-Lynn Williams, Greg Walker & John Deuble.

Thursday’s Ladies Par event was won by Glenda Christensen +2 ahead of Megan Ashton +1. NTP’s – Bev Cowe, Jan Steele & Ellen Clark.

Friday’s 9 hole event was taken out convincingly by back to back winner Couper Smith (Junior) with 29 points.

Saturday’s Mossman Auto Repairs Monthly Medal was won by Kym Copland nett 67 ahead of Nick Scommozon 69.

Ladies Carly Q Hair & Makeup Monthly Medal was won by Cheryl Revell nett 75 ahead of Bev Cowe 77.  Cheryl also won the putting competition.

Sunday’s Stableford Medley was won by Julie Hooker with 39 points ahead of Damien Pitcher 38.  NTP’s  Matty Coulthard & Ken Deuble.
