The Reef Raiders Under 12’s travelled to Cairns on Friday night for a late game against the combined TAS and JCU side

Only having 12 players was going to be a really tough night for the Raiders.

TAS/JCU went over for the first try early, Raiders fought back and Tom Walker went over and then just before half time, Zion Gibson crossed the line after a great backline move.

Raiders came out firing after half time with Josh Cranswick crossing the line, but the Raiders went to sleep for the next ten minutes, allowing the TAS/JCU to score three quick tries to take the lead.

The Raiders woke up, and with the forwards controlling the football, they hit back with tries from Locky Buzzer and Braydon Mynott right on full time with a conversion by Josh Cranswick giving the Raiders a seven point win. 

The final score 27-20 to the Raiders.
