One of the most iconic and recognisable drinking holes in the Far North is now up for grabs after its recent public listing.

The legendary ‘Lions Den Hotel’ at Rossville has long been a rite of passage and a definite stopping point for thirsty travellers, tourists and adventurers alike wanting a cold one during trips to and from Cape York or anywhere in-between.

Now, you can own the hotel for a cool $4.5M.

The popular pub stretches across 2.7ha and among other things has an industrial kitchen, garden deck along with a coffee and pizza bar.

The location also includes donga type accommodation that includes 25 single and double rooms, 14 powered camp sites and other facilities.

The mighty pub can be accessed by taking the Mulligan Highway from Lakeland, or via the Bloomfield Track from Cape Tribulation to Wujal Wujal and Cooktown.
