With the wet season in full effect and the school holiday period now in the rear view mirror the hardworking hospitality staff of the Douglas Shire can finally draw breath and take a well earned and much needed break.
Over the coming days and weeks’ a number of local outlets will reduce their hours or close the doors so staff can smell the roses and take overdue leave.
Over the past few days the wonderful staff at The Daintree Shop have compiled a comprehensive list of what’s open and closed across the Shire for the foreseeable future.
