VIDEO: BON APPETIT: Taste Port Douglas launches in grand style at the Sheraton
LET'S EAT!

One of the most iconic events on the annual Douglas Shire calendar is underway with a host of well-known chefs, talent, dignitaries, residents and foodies joining together to officially launch Taste Port Douglas at the Sheraton last night.
Event founders Spencer and Reina Patrick welcomed everyone to the highly popular three-day festival that remains wholeheartedly committed to championing and celebrating Australia’s culinary landscape since its establishment back in 2013.
Some 5000 people experienced the festival in some way last year, which included participants from across the Sunshine state, interstate and very passionate overseas attendees.
Once again Taste Port Douglas will deliver a smorgasbord of culinary masterclasses, signature dinners and unique dining experiences at the Sheraton and other locations across Douglas.
The event provides a yearly boost to the Douglas Shire economy and provides endless regional tourism benefits and promotional opportunities.
