A superyacht lying in Port Douglas with an asking price of $7.8M AUD has been sold.

Luxury boat brokers Fraser Australia sold the luxury vessel, Espiritu Santo, earlier this month but the identities of both the previous and new owners remain undisclosed.

The 31.7-metre yacht, built by Ocea of France, was sold after five months on the market.

She was built in 2002 as an all-aluminium ocean-going vessel with naval architecture and exterior design by Joubert-Nivelt and interiors by Olivier Flahault. 

Just last year, she joined the market on completion of a refit and 20-year class survey, and has only ever been used privately. 

Espiritu Santo’s accommodation is for eight guests in four cabins, with the master on the main deck and further cabins for a crew of four.

The superyacht is powered by a pair of Baudouin 475hp diesel engines, delivering a cruising speed of 10 knots and top speed of 13 knots. 

She has range of 3,400 nautical miles (8,300km). She has a long keel –offering a draft of 2.4 metres, and propeller protection. 

Espiritu Santo had been lying in Port Douglas up until time of the sale, which was listed in March this year.
