E-Scooter and bike rider poll results

A poll conducted by Newsport over the past 48 hours that centred on the ongoing use of e-scooters and bikes by local riders has returned some interesting results.
In total Newsport received 147 responses; 74.15% or 109 people voted YES, they have felt unsafe in recent times around e-scooters and bike riders on local Douglas streets.
19.28% or 28 people voted, NO, they haven’t feel unsafe in recent times around e-scooters and bike riders on local Douglas streets.
6.80% of voters said they didn’t mind either way.
“We appreciate those who took the time to vote to tell us how they feel about the issue,” Newsport editor Michael Warren said.
“We’ll continue to run these types of polls in the future to get a gauge and understanding on what locals feel about the issues we are covering.”
