Tracey Jones: “I find the lines in this image just keep moving my eyes up and down, through the cane field up to the mountains and back down to the harvester. I could look at this for hours.”

Alison George: “This picture tells a great story of the region with a strong composition and soft light.”

Tracey Jones: “I have always loved patterns in nature and I think the artist here has done a great job of showing this simple pattern. The use of colour, texture and lines all work well together.”

Alison George: “Clean simple composition with a delicate colour palette.”

Tracey Jones: “I love how this image is split into three parts, the sugar wharf, the Shaolin, and the mangroves. They are all perfectly lined up and the lines of the clouds and ripples in the water draw your eyes in towards the boat.”
