A Douglas Shire business has received some timely kudos after claiming a significant tourism award.

Just days ago Brett’s Outback Tasting Adventures was confirmed as a Viator experience award winner in the rest of the world category for continuing to provide exceptional beverage tours and experiences.

“We are very proud to be recognized in the ‘Rest of the World’ category in the top 10,” delighted owners Andrea and Brett Cameron told Newsport.

More broadly Viator has more than 300,000 bookable experiences.

The final rankings to determine award winners were based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings on the Viator platform over a 12-month period from January to December last year.

The Viator experience awards recognizes 150 experiences, tours and activities across five new categories in three geographic regions - ranking the top 10 winners per region.
