CONFIRMED - Toyah's alleged killer captured in India

In a major development there are unconfirmed reports that the main suspect in the death of beloved Toyah Cordingley has been captured and arrested in India.
7News is reporting that Rajwinder Singh has been nabbed by Police in India. In recent times Queensland Police offered a $1M reward for information leading to Mr Singh's capture. Newsport understands authorities will confirm the development later this afternoon.

Queensland Police Service Commissioner Katarina Carroll, Police Minister Mark Ryan and the Australian Federal Police just moments ago confirmed the arrest of a man wanted for the alleged murder of Toyah Cordingley at Wangetti Beach on October 22, 2018.
Indian national and prime suspect Rajwinder Singh was taken into custody just a few hours ago. He's been detained and will face court this morning Indian time.
In other developments, Police confirmed Singh was captured in New Delhi. It remains unclear if the $1M reward assisted in his capture.
Australian detectives and Police will also start the process to extradite the alleged offender back to Australia to face ensuing court proceedings at a later date.
"We are so thrilled to announce the main suspect of Toyah’s alleged murder has been arrested in India earlier today," Ms Carroll told a packed media conference.
"This has been an intensive, comprehensive across-the-world investigation for many years now - today is a great development."
