The Sharks face Innisfail tomorrow in what shapes as a test of the side’s premiership credentials. This picture shows Mossman taking on Edmonton a few weeks’ ago.

THE Sharks will embark on one of the toughest road trips in the CDRL with the knowledge they can mix it with the best following a last up supreme performance against Brothers.

In a superb home performance Mossman kept the visitors scoreless for much of the encounter before eventually securing a tight 20-14 against the competition favourites.

Tomorrow, they’ll need to ensure their defence is again right on point if they are to overcome an Innisfail side that will be hell bent on getting the points on their home track.

Innisfail is coming off a mixed performance against Edmonton in which they secured a 34-24 win at Petersen Park.

Prior to that they had a 22-28 loss against Brothers, a 22-20 win over Southern Suburbs and a 26-10 win over Atherton.

Mossman sits third on the A-Grade ladder while Innisfail is on the same number of points with the two teams only separated on for and against points.
