With last weekend’s opening of the Wonderland Spiegeltent being a great success, the party in paradise is heating up.
Leading into the main festivities starting on Friday May 20, Carnivale 2021 and the Wonderland Spiegeltent are gearing up for some bumper events still to come.
The well-loved Wonderland Spiegeltent opened its curtains with a full house during last weekend’s opening shows.
Melissa Head, director of Port Douglas Carnivale said that Australia’s own Akmal had the audience in stitches, Karen from Finance turned the Spiegeltent upside down with her Out of Office show and Kate Ceberano sang the stars out of the sky.
“Upcoming weekends we have the phenomenal musician Joe Camelleri, the ever delightful family favourite Circus Wonderland, the sexy cabaret Rouge with an all star lineup and something just for the adults, Debauched, the riotous variety show like you've never seen before.”
Ticket giveaway
Thanks to the generosity of the Wonderland Spiegeltent and Carnivale we have two ticket passes to giveaway to Newsport readers.
The free tickets are up for grabs for the following two events:
- A two-person pass for ‘Rouge’ at the Wonderland Spiegeltent on Sunday 15 May
- A two-person pass for Tropic Rock featuring INXS on Saturday 21 May
To enter the competition simply like Newsport’s Facebook post “ticket giveaway” and tag three friends you would like to go with and what show you would most like to attend. The more times you enter the more chances to win!
Winners will be picked at random. The winner of the Rouge tickets will be announced this afternoon (Friday 13 May) and the winner of the Tropic Rock tickets will be announced on Monday 16 May.
