Currajong – vehicle and motorcycle crash
A patient was transported to Townsville Hospital in a serious condition with a significant leg injury following a vehicle and motorcycle crash reported on Hugh Street and Bayswater Road at 5.50am.
Caboolture – snake bite
A male patient in his 30s was transported to Caboolture Hospital stable after sustaining a suspected snake bite to the leg at a private address at 9.50pm.
Andergrove – snake bite
Paramedics transported a female adult to Mackay Hospital stable after she sustained a suspected snake bite to the foot at a private address at 9.24pm.
Yorkey’s Knob – e-scooter crash
A female patient was transported to Cairns Hospital stable with minor injuries following an e-scooter crash on Sims Esplanade at 7.41pm.
Logan Central – snake bite
Paramedics transported a man in his 50s to Logan Hospital in a stable condition after he sustained a suspected snake bite to the hand at a private address around 7.30pm.
Nambour – vehicle and pedestrian incident
A male patient was transported to Nambour Hospital in a critical condition following a vehicle and pedestrian incident reported on Hospital Road and Webster Road at 6.54pm.
Port Douglas – motorcycle crash
A female patient in her 20s was transported to Mossman Hospital in a critical condition following a motorcycle crash on Barrier Street around 6pm, however later passed away.
Lakeland – horse float rollover
A female teenager was transported to Cooktown Hospital stable with neck pain after a horse float being towed on the Mulligan Highway rolled at 6pm.
